The College of Europe Natolin Campus hosted Georgian Culture Days, organized by Georgian students with the support of the Embassy of Georgia to the Republic of Poland. The event coincided with Europe Day. In exploring Georgian culture, history, language, and cuisine, the students dedicated the main portion of the event to the renowned Georgian epic poem, "The Knight in the Panther's Skin." To commemorate Shota Rustaveli Day, celebrated on May 15, twelve international students recited verses from the epic in their native languages. Her Excellency Diana Zhgenti, the Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Poland, attended the event and spoke about the historical ties between Georgia and Europe, as well as our shared future. The Ambassador also highlighted the significance of the poem and presented a copy of "The Knight in the Panther's Skin" to the College of Europe Library.
