On 21-23 September, 2015 7th Baltic Business Forum was held in Świnoujście, Poland, where Georgia was invited as the Honorable Guest. The Georgian delegation was headed by the Director of National Investment Agency, Mr. Giorgi Pertaia. Baltic Business Forum" was aimed to promote Georgia’s investment potential and opportunities, increase country’s awareness, establish relevant contacts and regional cooperation in the fields of economy, agriculture, energy and etc.

On 20-24 September, 2015 the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Parliament of Georgia, Mr. Tedo Japaridze paid a working visit to the Republic of Poland. Within the framework of the visit, Mr. Japaridze held numerous meetings at the legislative and executive bodies of the Republic of Poland, as well as at the international organizations and think-tanks. Discussions focused on increasing level of Polish-Georgian cooperation, both at bilateral and multilateral levels. Polish side also expressed its unwavering support of Georgia’s EU and NATO integration process and expressed its readiness to be more actively involved in fulfillment of those aspirations.

W dniach 14-18 września 2015 roku Krajowa Szkoła Administracji Publicznej w Polsce, gości 13 przedstawicieli samorządów gruzińskich z miast Kareli, Dusheti Telavi, Chkhorotsku, Akhaltsikhe, Gurjaani, Rustavi, Kharagauli, Chiatura, Mestia i Kobuleti. Gruzińscy urzędnicy państwowi biorą udział organizowanym w ramach Akademii Administracji Publicznej Partnerstwa Wschodniego specjalnym programie szkoleniowym pt. „Reforma samorządowa w Gruzji” (the Reform of the Territorial Self-Governing in Georgia).

On 17 August 2015, the Russian Federation launched large-scale military exercises at the military base of the Southern Military District, including in Georgia's occupied Abkhazia and Tskhinvali regions. Based on the official website of the Russian Defence Ministry, the exercises involve the use of such modern weapons as Grad-M, Uragan and Smerch multiple launch rocket systems;  152-mm and 122-mm towed howitzer pieces: Msta-С and  D-30;  towed artillery piece: Nona and other military systems. The exercises will continue until 18 September.

The Georgian Foreign Ministry expresses its extreme concern over the illegal placement of banners by the Russian occupying forces on 10 July marking the so-called “border” on the territory adjacent to the village of Tsitelubani of Gori municipality and the village of Orchosani in occupied Akhalgori district in close vicinity to the Tbilisi-Gori central highway. It is noteworthy that certain segments of Baku-Supsa pipeline run in the vicinity of the both areas and with this illegal action a certain portion of the pipeline next to the village of Orchosani fell within the occupied territory.

The Georgian Foreign Ministry wishes to express its deep grief over the disaster that hit Tbilisi, the Georgian capital leaving people dead, injured and missing.  The flood that swept through Tbilisi in June 2015 inflicted heavy damage on the city destroying part of its infrastructure – Tbilisi Zoo, the main road across the Vere River, houses in the adjacent streets.

   On 14 April 2015, Danish, Polish and Swedish Foreign Ministers Martin Lidegaard, Grzegorz Schetyna and Margot Wallström, respectively, made a joint visit to Georgia and were hosted by their Georgian counterpart Tamar Beruchashvili. The joint visit of the Foreign Ministers of the EU Member States is considered to be a demonstration of solidarity for Georgia, especially, in the view of the upcoming Riga Summit in May.

Following the signature of the so-called “treaty on alliance and strategic partnership" between Russian Federation and Russian occupation regime in Sokhumi, the Russian Federation signed the so-called "treaty on alliance and integration” with its occupation regime in Tskhinvali on 18 March 2015. This action from the Russian Federation blatantly contradicts international law and undermines the fundamental principles of the UN Charter and Helsinki Final Act, such as the sovereign equality of states, inviolability of borders, territorial integrity and fulfillment of obligations in good faith under international law.
